Shane's Achievements
In the Minnesota AMA District 23 Shane has placed within the top 10 from when he began racing in 2003 through 2008. He participated in the Motokazie Elko/Mankato Dealer Series achieving the Points Champion 3 years in a row and was honored with the Hitching Post Sportsman Award presented by Motokazie. In the past, Shane has competed in a couple of national races, but this year he has been able to compete in most of the national races.
During the winter of 2009 Shane was able to train in California with Shannon Niday and continued to gain riding experience in Texas. From there he raced Lake Whitney. There he took 9th in the School Boy1 qualifier. Then during the main event he crashed on the first lap leaving him a lap down.
This summer Shane has been racing District 23 competing in School Boy and is currently in 2nd place and 122 +12 currently in 1st place. Shane has qualified for Ponca this summer in Oklahoma. This fall he plans to be back in Texas and further prepare and train for more National Races.
